Important Information

Please check your documents when you receive them. Call us immediately if you have any questions.

  1. RECONFIRMATIONS: Domestic: We recommend that you reconfirm all flights prior to departure and at each point of your stopover. This will give the airline the chance to advise you of any changes that may have occurred in your itinerary. International: You MUST reconfirm your continuing or return reservations at least 72 hours prior to flight time at each point or stopover or your reservations may be cancelled.

  2. CHECK IN: We suggest the following check in times for airline travel. Domestic 90 mins prior to departure. International 120 minutes prior to departure. Check in, is defined as the time you present yourself at the airline check in counter, NOT the time you join the check in line. Check in later than these times may result in denied boarding with no compensation being due.

  3. BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE: Baggage allowance changes often and the best source of information is the airline website. In general for air travel whose beginning or ultimate destination is the USA, Canada, Mexico and most of the Caribbean Islands, the piece system is in operation. Economy class passengers may check up to 2 pieces of luggage, neither piece to exceed 50lbs/23kg. International First & Business class passengers are usually permitted extra baggage allowances. Please ask us to reconfirm this for you. This applies to USA transit passengers also. International passengers whose flights no way touch the countries mentioned above are subject to the weight system. Economy class passengers are usually entitled to 1 piece of baggage not to exceed 50lbs/23 kg, Business Class passengers are allowed 66lbs/30kg and First Class passengers 88lbs/40kg. Carry on baggage varies by airline company. Please check with the airline website to help you plan this. For permitted items in your carry on bags, please go to tsa.gov

  4. OVERBOOKING: Airline flights may be overbooked, A person denied boarding on a flight may be entitled to compensation. The rules for denied boarding are available at the airline’s ticket counters.

  5. CHANGES OR CANCELLATIONS: To change or cancel your flight itinerary, call us or the airline you are scheduled to take. If canceling, return unused tickets to us for refund or credit. Most tickets have a penalty for change or cancellation. Be sure you understand these restrictions. IF you change your plans en-route, call us so we may apply the value of your unused ticket to your new itinerary. If you are holding a guaranteed hotel or car reservation, you must call us or the company directly before the time limit stated to prevent no-show charges. Deposits and cancellations for tours and cruises are subject to the vendor’s cancellation policies.

  6. INSURANCE: Airline & other travel supplier’s insurance have limited liabilities. Your personal insurance may not provide adequate coverage. We strongly recommend travel insurance.

  7. LOST TICKETS: Lost, stolen or destroyed tickets must be paid for until a refund is obtained from the issuing airline, subject to an airline imposed service charge.

  8. PREPAID TICKETS: If your travel arrangements involve a request for prepaid paper airline tickets, picked up by the passenger at the airline ticket counter, there will be a mandatory charge levied by the airline as a non refundable service charge.

  9. PASSPORTS & VISAS: A valid passport is required for International travel. Some countries require a passport to be valid for at least 6 months AFTER you return. Visas are required for certain countries. Securing correct and valid travel documents is the responsibility of the passenger and NOT of this travel agency. We will advise & assist as much as is possible. Lack of correct documentation is NOT a valid reason to obtain a refund.

  10. ADVICE TO INTERNATIONAL PASSENGERS ON LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: Passengers embarking upon a journey involving an ultimate destination or a stop in a country other than the country of departure are advised that the provisions of an international treaty (the Warsaw Convention, the 1999 Montreal Convention, or other treaty), as well as a carrier's own contract of carriage or tariff provisions, may be applicable to their entire journey, including any portion entirely within the countries of departure and destination. The applicable treaty governs and may limit the liability of carriers to passengers for death or personal injury, destruction or loss of, or damage to, baggage, and for delay of passengers and baggage. Additional protection can usually be obtained by purchasing insurance from a private company. Such insurance is not affected by any limitation of the carrier's liability under an international treaty. For further information please consult your airline or insurance company representative.
